NOAA Fisheries highlights right whale tagging work for Whale Week!
NOAA Fisheries recently celebrated Whale Week with a series of features highlighting a variety of efforts to study, recover, and conserve marine mammals. One of these features focused on using tags to understand North Atlantic right whales and recounted some of the work performed by the navy's Marine Species Monitoring Program.
