New project in the Atlantic tagging Kemp's ridley and green sea turtles
We are excited to initiate a new 4-year project working with Dr. Kate Mansfield from the Marine Turtle Research Group at UCF, and Andrew DiMatteo from CheloniData LLC. This project will be tagging Kemp's ridley and green sea turtles in the Atlantic over the next few years to collect telemetry and dive behavior data that will improve our spatial density models as well general understanding of their behavioral ecology. They will begin tagging very soon and we expect to have a blog post up once they are under way.
